Today is Human Rights Day and the last day of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence. Join Human Rights Atlanta, more than 60 Atlanta groups, as they come together to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) - Human Rights Day celebration event will be at 6:00 p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Research Library (101 Auburn Avenue, Atlanta 30303) featuring Civil Rights Legend, Rev. C.T. Vivian.

The annual 16 Days campaign is between November 25, the International Day Against Violence Against Women and December 10, International Human Rights Day, to symbolically link violence against women and human rights and to emphasize that such violence is a violation of human rights.
